Li Ming Geh was born in the heart of Petaling Jaya in Malaysia and moved to Vancouver, Canada after high school to pursue her degree in Psychology and Kinesiology with a certificate in Human Nutrition. A nerd at heart, she decided to go on to earn a Masters specializing in Psychology and Neuromechanics at the beautiful campus of University of British Columbia of Vancouver.
During graduate school Li Ming was scouted by a director from the famed Battlestar Galactica television series as a double. On set, her friends would encourage her to pursue modeling and after deciding to give it a try, she was scouted and signed with Lizbell Agency in Vancouver. Barely a year passed and she walked her first season at New York fashion week in the Fall of 2009. Since then, Li Ming has travelled and worked all over the world and now calls New York her home base.
Li Ming has appeared in the pages of Harpers Bazaar, US Elle, Numero, Glamour, Purple Magazine, and BlackBook Magazine to name a few.
When Li isn’t on the runway or behind the camera she devotes herself to a myriad of different passions and interests including working together with non profit organizations as an advocate for education for children from refugee families in Malaysia, and loves developing gluten free and vegan recipes and baking for her friends and family. Li loves an active outdoor lifestyle as well and will steal any chance she can get to run or just be out in nature.
